District 5 Judge Scott D. Meaders has been a pillar for the LPS Foundation since 2014. Meaders was appointed as District Judge for Comanche and Cotton Counties by Governor Mary Fallin in 2017, and served as Chief Judge for Comanche County in 2019, 2022, and 2023. He was born in Guthrie, Oklahoma, but attended Lawton Public Schools and graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1985.

In addition to being a pillar, Judge Meaders always participates in LPSF’s annual fundraisers and golf tournament.

Judge Meaders also has children who graduated here in Lawton. He hopes other community members consider how being a pillar for the foundation can make a positive impact on our youth.

Without the support of Pillars like Judge Meaders, LPSF would not be able to provide the support and resources that we do to the teachers and students of Lawton Public Schools.
